What we collect
- Information you give us — your name, email, shipping and billing details, and order history when you create an account or place an order. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; identity verification, when required for high-value orders, is handled securely through Stripe Identity and we never store your documents ourselves.
- Information collected automatically — basic device and usage data (pages viewed, clicks, approximate location from your IP, and performance timings) so we can keep the site working and improve it. This is described under Analytics & cookies below.
Analytics & cookies
We use essential cookies that are required for the site to function — keeping you signed in, remembering your cart, and securing checkout. These are always on because the site can't work without them.
With your consent, we also use PostHog, a product-analytics tool, to understand how the site is used — which features are popular, where people run into friction, and which pages load slowly — so we can make it better. With your consent this may include:
- Usage analytics — anonymous-by-default events about the pages you visit and the actions you take.
- Session replay — a reconstructed, privacy-screened recording of how pages were used (we mask text input and sensitive fields) to help us find and fix usability problems.
- Performance metrics — page load and responsiveness timings to find slow pages.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics or session-replay data is collected — only the essential cookies remain. Your choice is remembered on your device; to change it, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
How we use your information
To process and deliver your orders, provide customer support, verify high-value purchases and prevent fraud, send you transactional email (and marketing email only if you opt in), comply with our legal obligations, and — with your consent — improve the site through the analytics described above.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the store — for example Stripe (payments and identity verification), our shipping and fulfillment partners, Resend (transactional email), and PostHog (analytics, with your consent). They process it on our behalf, and only as needed to provide their service.
Data retention & security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We protect it with industry-standard safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email admin@formijewelry.com and we'll respond as required by law.

We may update this notice from time to time; the version published here applies from the moment it's posted. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
